I have had anxiety ever since I can remember. It’s only recently that it’s had the name “anxiety disorder” however. Before I used to think I was stressed because I had too much to do, or I was going through menopause…
While these things certainly have an effect, anxiety exists on it’s own unless we take steps to overcome it once and for all.
I’ve ruled out medication because it messes with my mind (I did try it once) I’m currently taking a herbal remedy, but I realise I can’t take it forever. So I’ve decided to learn how to overcome anxiety permanently by buying a course and following it. It come highly recommended and is written by a professional in the field of behaviour modification.
The reason I’m telling you this is because anxiety is one of the leading causes of insomnia. Anxiety is actually designed to protect us, but can sometime get out of hand, as it has in my case.
I’ll let you know how I get on, I started 2 days ago so am not expecting too much straight away. But hope to see some results soon
