Sleeping disorder question
Hi, I’m a 26-year old female and in the past 2 weeks I have had difficulty falling asleep and I’ve been waking up too early. I had accumulated a lot of stress prior to this, and in turn it has resulted in even lessened ability to sleep and also pain around the heart muscle. It’s the gnawing pain what worries me. I get it only when I get up too early or when I can’t fall asleep.
My doctor told me that probably my nerves are damaged and and it has affected the heart. Do you have any advice for my situation? I’ve read that damaged nerves can not be healed. Does this mean I will suffer from this type of insomnia and heart pain for life? Thank you so much for your answer!
Answer
Hi
I would certainly seek a second opinion from another doctor. I don’t have medical qualifications, but that just doesn’t sound right to me! It sounds more like symptoms of the stress you’re going through.
There is not much that can’t be healed. Insomnia is not a life sentence, you’ve just got to get that stress under control and you’ll sleep better and I’m guessing those symptoms will resolve themselves.
Please do go and get a second opinion — from a doctor of natural health if you can find one in your area.
I wish you the best of luck
Wendy
