That’s funny! It’s more like, how long does your baby let YOU sleep?
I can’t wait until mine is sleeping like that. How old is your son? If he’s older, his stomach is probably bigger, so he’s not going to be hungry as fast. I say if he’s breathing and looks content, don’t wake him….get some things done around the house or go back to sleep yourself.
I usually wake my DD after 12 hours to “reset” her day and her daily routine. If there is a reason she wasn’t sleeping well at night, sick, etc, then I would let her sleep in. Otherwise I would consider getting him up. He could probably use a feed and diaper change; if he really needs the sleep, he will go back down easily.
I let my baby sleep as long as she’d like. In fact we have a rule to never ever wake sleeping baby. And I’m pretty sure that all children sleep a lot when they’re teething or growth spurting. Take heart it’s normal and ok.
My oldest goes through periods where she will sleep about 12 hours a night, but sleeping longer is rare. I would probably try to rouse him soon and see if he’s feeling ok. My daughter only sleeps more than 12 hours when not feeling well.
both my kids are like that my son 5 months can sleep anywhere from 10/13 hrs a night and my daughter the same and at 7 years old she’s still a big sleeper , your one of the lucky ones
enjoy
Oh yes, some days they just want to sleep in. Like their Mommies and Daddies. Let him sleep and go relax yourself!
if it is night time & he is older than 10 months i let him sleep untill he wakes up (cheecking on him though)
i would check on him
Yes. I let Olivia sleep til’ whenever she wakes up. Sometimes they sleep in longer spurts if their going through a growth spurt. I WISH Olivia slept that long today!
I let her sleep as long as she wants. Once my daugher slept for over 12 hours and I kept checking on her to make sure she was okay.
He may just be having a growth spurt but I would wake him especially if he’s under 5-6 months as he’ll need to eat.
Oh yeah my son will sleep for about 15 minutes sometimes then 8 hrs the next. I let him sleep as long as he wants and I just keep checking on him.
my daughter loves to sleep in til noon or so from about 1030 the previous night
your lucky , but i would ask the doc…they say about 12 hours is good my son slep about 8
it.s ok
