no i just stay up and wait till i am tired enough to attempt to go to sleep
I have had insomnia for years, the thing that has helped me the MOST is drinking MonaVie. It’s a juice with Acia berries and other fruit in it. It is all natural and full of antioxidants. I sleep through the night and wake feeling very rested. I have been drinking this for a year….stopped drinking for a month, to see what would happen, and insomnia returned. I love it, and will never stop drinking it. It’s not cheap, but is well worth it! If anyone knows of a cheaper version of MonaVie or Acia berry juice that is just as good, I would love to know.
Get out of bed early in the morning and stay busy throughout the day
Get into a regular exercise routine but not too late in the day
Take a cool shower before bed and try a to have a constant “white noise” while you sleep, I have a fan that stay s running all night, it keeps me cool and offers a quiet and constant sound
Stay away from prescription sleeping pills, (ambien) they have some very odd side effects like sleep walking and eating and even driving. I fell asleep, woke up an hour later, drove 20 miles, did a bunch of coke and don’t remember any of it, the phone messages I have left under the influence of ambien haven’t been good either, stay away at all costs!
Melatonin, which is a vitamin and can be bought at any drug store works for me, 1-5 mg 20 minutes before bed time and it should help
Make sure you don’t spend too much time in bed, don’t watch TV, study or anything like that, my doctor says beds are for sleep and sex only, spending too much awake time in bed will get your body in the habit of staying awake while lying down, not a good think
When you can’t sleep get up, watch TV, read, do something for 30 minutes and then lay down again.
Yes, stop talking about it & you can learn why I say that by reading a book by Louise Hay “You Can Heal Your Life”. Take calcium it is so relaxing. I used to eat a low carb yogurt as a snack about 8 PM & I would sleep so much better. I had a problem & it got me straightened out after several years of not sleeping well.
maybe you need a sleep study, talk to your doctor, it could be a number of things causing this, but at least eliminate the possibilty of a medical condition.
and if thats not the problem, try drink a warm herbal tea in the evening, read a book before bed, listen to soft music.
1/2 cup of Brandy
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 cup of honey
microwave and drink up
after a day or two of those tea alone should be enough, just keep the same schedule
masturbate to orgasm
If you are mature enough to understand this then you will find it will generally help you get a good night’s sleep.
Nope.. I had insomnia too for a long time, and the only thing that ever really helped was prescription sleeping tablets.
there is no natural way its pure depression go see doctor and get it fixed.
exercise
No caffeine. Or stop drinking it at least 4 hours before your bedtime.
meditate
try and get some sleep
